Ready to embark on a long-desired adventure to Australia, I faced a dilemma; I didn’t want to abandon my internship at INGAGE.
So, I devised a plan to take my internship with me. And the guys at INGAGE said yes.
Equipped with my laptop and a ridiculously oversized rucksack, I set off across the world. Sydney became my home for two months, where I enjoyed the stunning beaches of Manly and Bondi, explored the enchanting Blue Mountains, and fully immersed myself in the infectious Aussie spirit.
But two months of this lifestyle wasn’t enough. Determined to make the most of my journey home, I stopped off at Thailand and Vietnam for an additional month. From the bustling city of Bangkok to the historic charm of Hanoi, I explored amazing, vibrant cities while somehow surviving the most unhinged traffic. The picturesque Phi Phi Island and the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An left an indelible mark on my travel memories.
While embracing these amazing places, I also had to skilfully balance my internship responsibilities at INGAGE. Thanks to the wonders of remote work, I had the privilege of seamlessly blending my professional growth with unforgettable travel experiences. Nevertheless, this journey came with its fair share of challenges. From the relentless quest for stable Wi-Fi connections to navigating multiple time zones, careful planning was crucial to maintain a harmonious work-travel-life balance.
As I reflect on my time as a travelling intern, I am grateful for the unique opportunity that allowed me to expand my horizons both personally and professionally. The memories I created, the connections I formed, and the skills I honed will be undoubtedly valuable in my future endeavours.
Through this extraordinary experience, I discovered that it is possible to pursue my passions and goals without compromising professional growth.
